Crazy B!!

Don't let her deceive you.......she IS crazy!! She is relentless and does NOT ever give up. She does not listen when told to do something....but what 8month old does I guess? She reminds me so much of myself its scary... she just looks at you and smiles when she knows she is doing something naughty....she is crazy!! She loves her new walker that she got for Christmas but we just got it out this weekend because Daddy thought she was too little to know what to do with it.....he was wrong....she started walking with it as soon as we put it togethr. It won't be long before she is on her own!! She has so much personality and attitude, we are in for a long 18years!!

Why didn't anyone tell me it would be this hard??? I blame all of you for leading me to believe this was easy.......just joking......she is crazy, but she is mine and we totally adore her. She keeps us busy and she is hilarious. Can't believe how fast they grow up!! Hope all is well with everyone...life is busy and I don't keep in contact like I should but hopefully my chaotic life will eventially slow down and I can spend more time with family/friends. I love you all!! Talk to you soon!!

In Loving Memory........

I would like to dedicate this post to Corey's Great Grandma, B's Great-Great Grandma, who past away Friday afternoon (1-23-2009). I only knew her for a short time but she was a fabulous lady and Corey and B were very important to her. It is a great loss for our family and she will be greatly missed!! I am however thankful that she got to see her first great-great grandchild born and got to know her. Braelynne brightened up her day whenever she saw her. We will miss you Grandma Betty!!!

Sleep Deprived Mommy!!!

Miss B is sick with a cold this week and once again I have become sleep deprived! I am still trying to catch up on my sleep since the last time she was sick. I guess I had it in the back of my mind that she wouldn't get sick often since she isn't in daycare but I guess that doesn't really matter:(

All I can say is that I am still waiting for this darn kid to sleep through the night! I am starting to become increasingly irritated that I'm always walking around with huge bags under my eyes!! I hope she feels better for her and my sake!!

Learning to Share......

Poor B'Lynne has had to learn to share at a very early age......EZ has taken over some of B's toys....one thing lately has been her bouncy seat that has become EZ's bed. She hasn't used it for a long time but she seems to get mad when she sees the dog laying in it. She now goes over and tries to push him out.....he usually just ignores her. One thing she can't seem to understand is why he snores so loud.....it really catches her attention. Seriously.....this dog snores so loud......it is really hard to sleep with him in our bedroom.

Everything is going well, besides being sleep deprived (B is still waking up at night, I have now decided it is just out of habit and sometimes she just has to work it out on her own:) I still can not get caught up on my sleep so I walk around in a haze most of the day. It is so nice when co-workers tell me "you look really tired today" that is just a nice way of telling me I look like poo!!!:) B is crawling around and getting in to everything still and is not slowing down anytime soon. She is eating a lot of "big girl food" she is starting to follow me and Corey around when we get our dinner plates and is interested in what we are having. She is learning to like a few things but still not sure about the consistency of food "chunks". Hope everyone is doing well....talk to you soon.

Offically Crawling

Oh Lord, please give me the patience that I need for this child!!!!! My parents always told me I was a crazy baby and toddler.....I was always on the go and my nickname was "Animal" for a reason. According to G'ma Traci, Corey was a good baby.....so I'm pretty sure she gets this from me:) I remember my mother told me, more then once, that pay back is coming AND SHE WAS RIGHT!!! My little Braelynne Faith is officially crawling these days (has been for over a week, just haven't had time to post it) She is also pulling herself up on everything! I can no longer leave her alone to do simple things like wash dishes, she likes to put EZ's rawhide sticks in her mouth!!! She also thinks she is funny when she doesn't listen to me when I'm yelling "NO" at her:) I have a squirt bottle that I spray at EZ when he does something naughty and I am starting to do the same with B.....hahaha, it is really just pure pleasure to me, I really enjoy squirting everyone, including Corey!! It is time to baby proof everything......grandparents, I suggest you do the same:)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I actually talked Corey into going out on New Year's Eve to go to our friends John and Nicole's to hang out with everyone. It was a Hat Themed party and I decided to play along:) We didn't stay out too late (because Corey might turn into a pumpkin:) but we had fun while Nana sat with B while she slept. It is back to work for both of us on Monday (Corey has been off for two weeks, so it will be an adjustment for him). Hope everyone had a Happy New Year!!
