Holidays are among us...

Well as the title says...the Holidays are among us...today is the day before Thanksgiving and I took today off to get some baking done and spend some time with B and my nephew Austin...which I'm now regretting as I type this:) A few weeks ago we took Moo...one of our crazy dogs to a photo shoot that a co-worker puts on and money is donated to an animal shelter so i thought it would be fun to take Moo and B and get their pics done together. I always seem to forget that B hates pictures...just like her father...hence..why he isn't in the photo..he made sure he was busy this day:) The dog actually did better then the children..imagine that. I finally had to bride B with french fries from McDonalds to get her to uncover her face and smile for the camera. And ofcourse..she wouldn't sit for them without me, so the pics that were just supposed to be of Moo and B...ended up being B, Austin, myself and ofcourse Moo (corey's prized possession) Corey laughs at me...he says one human shouldn't be so jealous of a dog..but if she was human...pretty sure corey would have married her and not me...so i'm a little bitter when she comes around!! hahaha. Anyhoo...for Thanksgiving we go to Corey's moms and then probably off to his dads in the evening and my parents sometime in the morning just to visit, so its never a relaxing time for us. We are also in the process of building a room in our garage for us so baby can have her own room and we can have more space. Ofcourse its been put off until the last possible moment...as of today i'm 34weeks and 3days...so 8.5months...i'm slowly running out of energy but the show must go on. There is a two year old who is demanding and a house, three dogs, a husband who all need something..usually at the same time. Can't wait to have another little demanding person running around:) I'm ready to have this baby and not be pregnant any longer!! Its been so long since i have updated the blog, but some of you have not seen the wedding pics...some have. The day was wonderful, but went by so fast i can barely remember it...and i was sober:) It was so nice to see family and friends and i was very grateful for all the help that went into making our day so special. I really don't know what to do with my time anymore....oh wait...i forgot i work, am 7months pregnant, take care of a 2yr old and a husband, housework, laundry, etc.....hahaha...i think i'm still busy enough:) We are now just trying to prepare for another child...well as much as you can prepare. Trying to potty train the first one so we don't have two in diapers...its definitely hard work. The Holidays are fast approaching and the only thing i'm counting down to is 1/9/11...due date. Lets just say its been a less then fun pregnancy!!! I told Corey I think we have a soccer player...this kid has adhd, she is all over the place, all the time. As long as I don't get another colic baby..i will be happy!! haha. I hope all is well with everyone!! Love Meg.

Its been a long time since we have updated this....life takes over and you get busy and you forget to keep folks updated. A few weeks ago we finally had B's two year old pics taken...just a few months late...thats pretty much on time right?? haha. We decided to take her to the Rose Garden were we will be married in just a few weeks. The photographer did an awesome job at capturing her attitude and not "posed" shots. Once the lady sent them to me, I cried right away...only because seeing her everyday you don't realize how big she is and how fast she is growing up. I try and enjoy her everyday...but life gets in the way and I realized that time is just flying by and I don't enjoy my baby girl as much as I should. So...enjoy the pics...I'll add more later on. I have tons to upload from my camera...but with wedding planning, working, taking care of B, the house etc....I don't find much time to get the blog updated. Hope everyone is doing well!! Love Meg!

Oh Lord.............

A few wknds ago we had Braelynne's 2nd birthday party. She loves her spongebob...so that is what we got for the cake. She took her fork and dug right in...not willing to wait for her plate:) Not much else going on in our world...you know, just the basics...like finding out your expecting again on your daughters 2nd birthday...just normal things such as that....:) Oh yeah...some might think its a HUGE DEAL...considering we are getting married in a few months...but we are totally calm and taking it as it goes....NOT!! WE ARE FREAKING OUT!!! Totally blind sided us, not expected, especially because of the wedding....but things happen and you have to deal with them so we are doing just that. All I want to do is eat...and eat...and eat....praying that if i start working out and eating healthy again, I will fit in that very expensive wedding dress that was bought for me:) We had our first bonfire of the season last wknd...good thing we started early, the rain came and ended the party about 11pm, but I wasn't that upset, considering it was my first sober bonfire..and was ready for bed:) Hope everyone is doing well....talk to you soon!!!

Long time no update....

It has been so long since I updated our blog!! My life has been so busy I can barely sit down with my family...let alone spend longer then 5min on the computer. So I have updated on a few different posts!! I took a few days off about 3wks ago and got some yard work done...still a long way to go but its coming along, I have figured out I hate weeds...they take over so fast, its driving me crazy!! Good ol' Aunt Lynne is splitting alot of her flowers and sharing them with me:) Looking forward to getting my yard all nice and pretty. I planted alot of bulbs, so they won't come up until later this summer, but below is our new weeping cherry tree, with hostas and vinca minor? plants...they spread so i wanted something that takes up lots of room. We are getting ready to get the garden going this wknd so hopefully we get some good veggies this year. Wedding plans are coming along...I have been working on it too much....well because its darn near planned:) Just little stuff....I'm pretty sure Corey still doesn't know the date of the wedding...he just is showing up....I hope:) haha. I hope everyone is doing well...and be expecting wedding invites right around the first of July!!

The new "planting area" by the front door, I filled it all in with dirt, all my little plants are by the side of the house...my garden will go there, keeping it close so i can keep an eye on it...and also just planted lilies to the left of the tree that should come up in July.

Easter at my Parents house...with Old Nana...B is such a little brat...hates pics, just like her dad!!! She is obsessed with Grandmas cane...so she refused to pay attention.

Oh buddy...look at this look...Easter dress wasn't a hit with B...she said "take it off now mommy...take it off....I no like it..." hahaha, i told her Nana put me in dresses....so you will wear them too!!!

She was LIVID that i put her in this dress....refused to put on shoes until later...she was freaking out!! but she was so cute!!!!

It looks like she is picking her nose...but she wasn't...Her and daddy snuggled up on the couch...daddys girl for sure!!!

FINALLY AN UPDATE!!!

Finally got to see the house my Aunt and her husband built...fell in love with it...now I know who I'm staying with should I ever become homeless....and according to my bank account...its not far off:) get ready Aunt Stacey and Uncle Tom:) lol

The only thing that made her happy was "swimming" aka...swinging...she was obsessed....Going to need to get her one for her bday!

I went to finally go see my Aunt Stacey and cousin Evy a few wknds ago in Missouri..B was getting sick...and so was I..so she was pretty whiny and didn't eat anything....I when I say anything...I mean she didn't eat anything but one cracker in over 24hrs...the kid is nuts...

I took a few days off from work a few weeks ago and took some time to play "snowman" (playdoe)..don't know why she calls it that...maybe because that is the only thing I know how to make with playdoe? She had alot of fun...Corey made a snake and it scared her..hahah, it was awesome!!

Staying REALLY BUSY!!!

Hi All!! Wanted to post a quick comment on here since I haven't uploaded anything for a few months. Staying busy with the wedding plans. 8/28/2010 is the date we set so its coming up fast and before you know it, it will be here. I have been told on several different occasions that I should have been a wedding planner as I'm getting stuff done in a fast, timely order!! Wedding dress is bought and dropped off to a safe, no peak for Corey destination...bridesmaid dresses and accessories check, cake, reception hall, caterer, ceremony place, invites, flowers, minister, all check. Moving along well. I have been working lots of hours to help with all my bills that seem to keep coming and they don't look like they are slowing down anytime soon. I will post some new pics of B soon!! Hope everyone is well.

First skiing experience......worst pain ever....

Well skiing was quite the adventure....quite the painful adventure!! This is a pic of the trees outside our Villa, I thought they were cool, there were tons of them. We left on Saturday and stayed at the local Casino and blew too much money, went to bed and woke up and headed to the resort. We left on Wednesday and came home during the ice storm....that wasn't the worst part, the worst part was getting home, on the way to go see B...who I missed like crazy, and i put my truck in a ditch, then had to walk 2-3miles to Corey's moms house in the pitch dark, up hill and on ice. It was so awesome I then cried for 2hrs because I was exhausted and missed my baby. No more vacations without B for a little while!

Put the truck in a ditch, then we called for help, then he went in a ditch, then we called a tow truck, then he went in a ditch....it was awesome. Was finally told we had to walk, which was great. 2mile hike up an ice hill falling down 100x. My week was GREAT!!! (sarcasm font would work well right now)
