HOLIDAY 2009

Ok...first off want to say you can tell I might have had too much wine tonight....I posted the pic of me and corey twice and couldn't figure out how to delete it....so you get us twice!! Yippee!!! Holidays of 2009 was a hit, and not only on the pocket book!! haha, I just thought of that...I'm so funny:) Anyway...We had numerous stops to make but we made it to all of them, even in the snow storm. B got lots of gifts, still trying to go through all of them and find places for stuff to go. We got our new coffee pot and tons of yummy candles from mommy!! New tools from my Daddy...which I will probably use more then Corey, because that is how we roll, he looks pretty and I work on stuff!!! Aunt Lynne didn't get over due to weather so we still have to exchange with her this wknd....but other then that, trying to clean up from the big event. B got lots of toys that have "little parts"...that I step on and scream. She got some new movies and books and cute clothes and TONS OF BABY STUFF!! She is running around pushing her new babies in the stroller and bassinet...its craziness in my house!! Hope everyone had a good Holiday!!! Looking forward to a New Year with new memories!! Happy Holidays!!!

Happy Holidays everyone!! We have a busy wknd ahead of us so I just wanted to post some pics of B'Lynne opening up her presents. She had a very good time, and thanks alot Gpa Wilson for that annoying guitar! Karma will get you!!! She was jamming out all night long. She was a pro at unwrapping all by herself, its like she had been practicing all year long for this one very moment! My memorial tattoo for Aunt Marilyn (Coreys Aunt who passed away on Tuesday ) Its the cancer ribbon with wings (gray is Brain cancer awareness) The writing reads "Fight Like a Girl". Since she couldn't take my xmas present with her, I thought this would be nice for a present to remind myself that people get taken away from us to soon. I don't recommend the foot....they really hurt!!

Getting the house "holiday proofed"

Here is our "Charlie Brown" Xmas tree...its our first and man its ugly, but its ours so that is all that matters. Braelynne could really care less about it..however when i got home from work tonight Braelynne kept bringing me presents and saying "open, open" then corey would laugh and he looked like he was up to something. He better not be opening them while i'm at work or i'll hurt him! Everything is going well on our end. Corey will find out hopefully tomorrow when he goes back to work....not like i really mind him being home. house work gets done, B is semi-taken care of:) laundry done...and B is all taken care of and ready for bed by the time I get home. When he goes back to work, things are going to get a little messy around the house. I need a nanny, and a maid...don't we all:) Looking forward to the holidays, love family time and of course time off work. We got our first blizzard out her in country town....thank ya Jesus for providing me with thy friendly neighbor...good ol Bob came over while we were snowed in and plowed our drive and sidewalk for us. I couldn't ask for a better neighbor! Thanks Bob...(even though he doesn't read this, wanted to give you a shout out) We actually got plowed right away so the drive to work wasn't as bad as I was dreading. B took her first sledding trip...over at Gma's house....she was not a fan at all. She wanted to "inside peeze Gma" was not impressed. Can't blame the poor girl. It was freezing. Time to be Thankful......

Long time no blog!!! I have been busy and actually haven't had too many new pics to post so I have waited until I got a few to put up. These are our new family pics.....most of you should have gotten a Holiday Card that had this pic on it...for those of you that didn't...well....sorry about that and if you send me your address, I have extras to mail out!! Nothing to big to announce...everything has been going ok. Still liking the new position at work, however really sucks to work until 7 then come home and see my baby for an hour and then she has to go to bed...thats rough but I try and make up for it on the wknds!! Today is Thanksgiving, and for some odd reason I get emotional and soft around this time...I love the holidays, time with the family and friends. The older I get, the more I realize how important holidays are for myself and my family. I have so much to be thankful for, however most of us take our life for granted and don't take the time to give thanks to the ones that mean the most. Today, I just wanted to say, I am thankful for such wonderful Family and Friends, without you guys I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm thankful that I have a precious little girl, I can't picture life without her. I'm thankful that my family has good health (well besides Austin, he has pink eye....had to reschedule Allison Thanksgiving until Saturday) but for the most part he has been healthy:) I'm thankful to have a roof over my head and food to eat, because a lot of the people in the world don't have that to be thankful for. I'm thankful for my parents, they have made me the women I am today and without them my nephew could possibly be with strangers on this day. I'm thankful that I get to see and talk to my brother, because even though he isn't here at this time....he will be home with us again someday. I have a lot to be thankful for...I can't even mention every thing because it would take all day. I have the most wonderful family and friends and I'm truly blessed to have each and everyone of you in my life. I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.....enjoy your family and friends on this day...

Around the house.....

Ahh, my little girl, she is so bull headed sometimes I want to rip my hair clean out of my head!! I had the stroller in the car for trick or treat and brought it in to take it downstairs the following day. She threw a fit and wanted to sit in it. She kept saying "B ride, ride, ride" so all day Saturday she played in her stroller. Pretty easy entertainment.....she sat back and watched some cartoons while i cleaned the house. I do hate her watching tv....but sponge bob comes in handy when I need to get something done:) She had me pushing her around during commercials....that was a blast!!!:) She is pretty funny these days. She is starting to copy what we say, which isn't a problem for Corey so much as it is for me!! Corey called the dogs "retards" and here B goes "retard, retard, dumb dog, bad moo moo, kennel up" oh yeah.....this should be fun!!! I hope she doesn't pick up much more but I have a feeling it will get much worse:) All else is going well. Trying to winterize the house, got new insulation a few weeks ago and got our plastic up over the windows. trying to do other things as well but trying to get corey to do them at "megan speed" isn't really working out to well. He is on his own schedule!! Well.....ta ta for now:)

Life in the Allison/Wilson home is never dull. B keeps us busy....since corey is home this month, they have been able to have tons of daddy-daughter time....since my new position at work has me working later, I don't get to see her but for just a little bit when i get home and then its her bedtime. So on the wknds we try and spend as much time with her as possible. These past few weeks we visited the yearly Night Eyes at the Blank Park Zoo, which is nice for kids....so i thought.....B...being the weirdo that she is didn't find it as fun as most children would. She was quite scared by the costumes..so I had to hold her the whole time. We then went to the Pet expo and had a good time until she got bit by a goat...she wasn't happy after that. Trying to keep her busy. Now we are trying to figure out and plan for the holidays which is always chaotic!! hope everyone is doing well!! B and tippy moo....they are obsessed with eachother...they are always messing with eachother.

First Trip away from home!!

Not much to report on. B is getting bigger and crazier by the day!! Right now Corey is off work for the month so she is back to being a daddy's girl since they are together all day. I started my new position at work, which I like so much better but the later hours are not so fun. I feel like all i do is work!!! Here is B attacking daddy for his food. I swear this child is so picky! no wonder she is so small, the kid never eats!!

this past wknd i went on a girls trip to the amana colonies for their yearly wine festival. It was my first night away from B, not so bad!! I could get used to vacations:) Fun time with my girls!

Here are the kids prints in the cement, B on the left and Austin in the center. It was quite a process, I thought it would be much easier!!! finally got the job done and it only took a few hours!! I'm glad its over, now I will think of something else for the boys to do before winter.....I'm making a list in my head right now!!! Finally had a date night with just Corey and I, movie was dumb but atleast we got together....thanks mom for watching the kids....We appreciate ALL the grandparents help with the monster..!!!!!
