Busy Weekend at the New House!!

This is B'Lynne being a crazy monkey and chasing me around the house. She turned 11months this past Friday and I'm having a really hard time dealing with the fact that my little baby is going to be a year old in less then a month. You hear parents say all the time that "they grow up fast" but you don't realize how fast until you have your own. Kinda depresses me.......makes me want to have more babies!!! (just joking mother:) I like to scare her sometimes:)

Anyway......B is doing well.....she is testing our patience but I have a feeling that won't change anytime soon!! She has been at both of her grandparents' a lot this past weekend due the fact that we were finally able to get in our new house, even though we haven't closed yet, to start doing cosmetic work. We have to have our septic tank replaced so that pushed our closing date back about a week. I am exhausted and Corey has worked about 10x harder then me so I'm sure he is exhausted as well. I will be glad when its all over.....at least the construction zone part of it. The house is an absolute mess right now. As we speak Corey is putting in new flooring.....with the help of his dad and step dad.....I would be really scared if he was by himself!!:) We are just looking forward to moving and having much, much more space!! Poor EZ he doesn't know what to think of all this space....he cried all weekend, he is also covered in pink and white paint from B's room. He is a nervous nelly and likes to run off so he can no longer be out without a leash because I'm scared he will get it on the highway! It will be nice when we are able to get some fencing!! Well.....thats about it for now, I will post some updated photos of the house as we go along, but for now.....here is what we started with! Hope everyone has a good week!!!

Easter and other updates......

Hope everyone had a blessed Easter, sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Things have been crazy, but what is new! We are still working on closing on the house, a few problems have been pointed out but the sellers are fixing them. We are still hopefully to close on the original date because we have already gave the apartment our notice!!! We are anxious (I'm stressed) to start working on home improvements and such.....the money aspect is starting to set in....the thought of paying over $100,000 for something makes my blood pressure go up!!!! B'Lynne visited the Easter bunny this past weekend with Austin and she did surprisingly well!! I thought she would freak out but she just stared at him with her dirty look! (for those of you that see her often, you know what look I'm talking about:) She is growing like a weed and we can not believe she will be a year in about a month and a half! I will be glad when we are done moving and get all settled. I will keep everyone posted on how it goes!! Hope everyone is doing well!!

BIG NEWS!!

We got some big news a few weeks back.....some of you have heard through the grapevine (such as my Grandma calling the whole family and telling them:) that Corey and I had bought a house!.....Well I am here to put it on the record...YES WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! I was waiting until everything was in the clear to tell everyone but looks like it is a go. It is out in Runnells, not too far out (not as far as Corey would have liked to go) but its far enough for me:) It is about 10minutes from where we are so its not too bad. Its sits on an acre of land so we go the yard I have always wanted! The house is older and needs some TLC but I think it has great potential and since we are young we have the time to fix it up. It is located right off of Vadealia road (9033 SE 56th) just so you know though, the county assessors page is not correct! that is not the house that sits on that land. I don't have any pictures to post but will soon. We close at the end of April if all goes according to plan so about a month away!! I am getting stressed but I'm trying to remain calm! Luckily we have a lot of friends that know how to do different things ex: plumbing, electric, painting.....we will be calling you guys:)

Besides that big news, all else is well here, B is walking all over the place and is getting a mouth full of teeth! We have FINALLY weaned and I'm finding out really how expensive milk is for her!!! Jesus I can't imagine spending all that money for a whole year!! EZ is getting big as well and is also teething, he however is losing his baby teeth all around the house so I have to keep a careful eye so Braelynne doesn't find the stray teeth and try to eat them! I'm sure he will excited to get out to some land where he can run, he sure does like to go out to Corey's moms house since she has land he can run wild on.

This past weekend I took Austin Tyler (my nephew, for those who don't know) to Chucky Cheese for my friends kid birthday.....he had a blast but I on the other hand needed some sort of pill when I got home:) It was utter chaos!!!!

Walking and 9month stats!!!

FYI!!!: BRAELYNNE FAITH STARTED WALKING LAST NIGHT!!!! WE ARE IN TROUBLE NOW!!

Braelynne had her 9month appt today...I thought she would weigh much more...here are the stats:

Weight: 17lbs 8oz
Height: 28"
Head: 17 1/4"

She has eczema all over her poor little body that we are treating but the doc thought it would go away eventually. All else was good and they said to come back for her year check up! Oh my.....I can't believe she is almost a year!!!!

Yes.....that is Braelynne Faith in the bathroom sink. Let me explain why she is in the sink........Mommy and Daddy were going out last night to watch the fights at a friends house and I was getting ready in the bathroom. I believe Braelynne was a little peeved that no one was paying attention to her and she wanted to know what I was up to. She proceeded to throw a fit on the floor until I put her up on the sink so she could watch herself in the mirror. Besides B growing up and being quite the handful, everything is OK on our end. We are anxiously awaiting to move out of our apartment once we find a place to move:) We are trying to find a house, whether it be to rent or own but we have to find one we can afford and that seems to be the problem we are running into:) Both Corey and I are searching for new employment opportunities and I am hoping to get a job with the Fifth Judicial at the Court House so please cross your fingers and pray that I get it!! This would mean quite a significant pay raise that I soooo desperately need!!!! Braelynne has her 9month check up at the doc tomorrow so I will keep everyone posted on her stats....she is getting to be quite the chunk now that I have started to wean her to formula.....EZ is also growing like a weed, B feeds him from her tray of food so needless to say at dinner time EZ is easily found underneath her chair:) Hope all is well with everyone, talk to you soon!!!

My cute little B! I tell her everyday she is lucky she is cute or I would spank her little butt:) She is quite the trouble maker, but for some reason I don't think that will ever change! If she is anything like Corey and I, we will have our hands full for the next 18years! B'ynne did take a step all by herself this weekend, but then her legs gave out and she fell to the floor and didn't want to try again! Corey has been trying to make her walk all weekend and she isn't having it!

In other news, I am over the flu and now I have a cold.....I just can't get healthy! Hopefully B doesn't get it! Tomorrow B will be going to Papa's to spend the day with him before he has surgery on Friday (on his hip) and this will be the last time Papa can watch her alone for about a month so I'm sure she will miss him. Papa is actually nice to her:)hahah (just joking daddy!) Poor G'ma Traci gets to watch her for four straight weeks.........lucky you Traci:) Hope everyone is doing well, talk to you soon!!

Braelynne's uncle Tanner and Caleb were over at the apartment this past week and they brought along their PlayStation....of course when B got home she wanted to know what all the fuss was about and tried to play too! She wasn't very happy when her uncles' wouldn't let her play:) As you can see...she is trying real hard to reach them! She finally got smart and went to the actually box and ripped the cords out.....you show 'em who is boss B!!!! Tell them to share with you:)

This past week we finally got B over her cold and then I got the flu!!! That was a ton of fun! I lost 3pounds......but I made up for not eating for two days and gained it right back...how depressing!!:) I for sure thought B would catch the flu, I'm crossing my fingers its just not delayed and that she will be good. Everything else seems to be going well and B's 9month appt is in a few weeks so we will all see how much she has grown! Hope all is well with everyone!

B and her bff Brooke (Zac and Katie's daughter)....once again she wasn't thrilled about sharing her bouncy seat (that she doesn't use anymore) with the baby...she already has to share it with the Beast...she just stood there trying to figure out how to get her out.
