What I want to become.....

While I'm on a roll...another Verse that I LOVED...actually I haven't gotten to this part in my Bible yet..but I'm usually reading atleast 2-3 other books at the same time..and the one I was reading at the time I read this verse was Joyce Meyer "Confident Women"..(good book by the way...I am a huge Joyce Meyer fan) She had a chapter in her book about Proverbs 31 about the Virtuous Women. While reading I was thinking..."who is this women...superman?" But as I continue to study the verse...I have found that its who I'm striving to become...its who I want to be...I want to be and remain the wife my husband loves, my kids look up to, my neighbors can count on, my friends call on for support, etc...how awesome is this women!! She can do anything!! I look up to so many women in my life...My Grandmother, My Mother, My Aunts, My Mother in Law, My Friends....Thank you all for making me a work in progress!!!

Blessed am I!!

This is a different post then I usually do...but something has been calling me to talk about a verse in the Bible I read sometime ago....As some of you know I finally...at the ripe age of 25 started to read the Good Book...how sad is it that I went 25 years without knowing a single thing about the Bible...thank you Husband of mine for opening up my eyes!! I'm still so new in reading the Bible..and most times I am more confused at what I just read then before...but I find some sort of peace in my life when I read it...and I think that is what keeps me going. Like the title of the post says..."Blessed"...blessed is what I am...its how I feel everyday when I wake up to my baby girls crying and whining over something so little..but I remind myself that one day I'll miss the crying and whining...i think?:) lol. I have come so far in my life...so many changes in the past 5yrs..all better..I pray every night and thank the Lord for giving me the life that He has....He is the only one that knows my future...but I know He has a great plan for me..and for that...I'm BLESSED!!

I was reading one day and came across the verse:

For it is by Grace you have been saved through Faith--and not of yourselves, it is a gift of God!! (Ephesians 2:8)

Mind you when i read this...I was pregnant with Gracie...We had already named her..so I knew her name was going to be Grace...I seen the words Grace and Faith and immediately knew that the name Gracie was meant to be ...because I already had a Faith!! (B'lynne Faith) I went days and this verse just played in my head...over and over and over again. I loved it...so I posted it on my Facebook...then a good friend of mine challenged me on what "Grace" was...I had my first challenge on Bible Scripture!! I was so nervous..what was my meaning of "Grace" did I even know??...I instantly had an anxiety attack. hahaha. This was my response...it took me a few minutes to think about it...:

"Spiritual Power demonstrated by Jesus who gives assistance when we choose to become the people that God means us to be, giving ourselves over to whatever goodness we are meant to create, to redeem, to sustain. All the good gifts we enjoy freely in life. given a unique place in the created order...hows that for ya? i'm changing my ways for the better ya see:) My husband has rubbed off on me:)"

The person that questioned me was my best friends brother who is a preacher at a church and I was so grateful for him questioning me on my Bible Scripture because it forced me to look into my heart and my meaning of "Grace". I wasn't saved by myself, I was saved through my new found Faith...

Anyhoo...I know this is weird post from me...as most of you had no idea I was getting so deep into the Bible...but this is the new me..I finally found something that gives me meaning in life and not just living day to day. Just thought I would share with everyone. ----Meg

Monkeying Around

A few weeks ago we took the kids to Monkey Joes...they had a blast!!! B said right when we walked in the door to her dad "Daddy..there are too many kids here...i don't want to jump" hahahaha. Corey has passed his social anxiety on to his child..I laughed so hard, then walked right passed them with Grace and Austin and told Austin they were boring and we were going to have fun:) B finally warmed up to the idea of jumping around and started to have fun. It was a good wknd.

My little Grace...sleeping beauty..she loves her sleep just like her mama and her sister.
Gracie doo doo pants woke up for a minute while at Monkey Joes..but went back to sleep. She slept the whole time...which was nice!!
B jumping around
B and Austin making it to top and sliding down..look at B's face. hahahahah. She had so much fun
This jump was more for big kids, but B was determined to get up it...Austin was such a good cousin and was coaching her were the steps were and where to grab. She finally made it up it!!
B making friends with another little girl and jumping all by herself
Daddy in the jump thing with B since she had anxiety (just like her dad:)

The Girls

I stole these pics from Corey's moms blog...she obviously gets her camera out more then I do!! Here are just a few shots of the girls enjoying their time with Gma. I am glad that if i'm not there to be with them...atleast a grandparent is!! I'm pretty sure they like her more anyway:) Not much new with us, i'm officially back to work so the girls go to Gma's M-Th and then Fridays my dad has them. Corey has decided to get his personal training license and i'm super excited for him that he has found something that he loves to do. Now if I only I can find what i love to do....then we would be set!!! :) So pretty soon Corey will be studying hard.....I must admit...I do not envy him. I hated studying..and I hated school. I thought about going back to school this wknd....then the thought passed and I said forget that!!! I already have thousands of dollars in student loans, full time job, full time mom/wife....now is just not the time that i want to do that. So for now I just pray that I will find a job that I love and allows me to be with my family more. Thats all for now.....love Meg.

B'lynne building blocks at Gma's, I believe Traci said she had her uncles build it...then decided to take full credit for their work!! hahaha She loves building with blocks.
Gma makes B smoothies to get some healthy stuff inside her since the child doesn't eat anything other then chicken noodles, chicken nuggets, cookies and yogurt!! B loves her smoothies
Little Gracie, such a smiley baby!! Hers is a good little girl...she has her moments where she cries non stop, doesn't like to be put down...ever...but other then that...I love her so much:) Such a little blessing.

Keeping busy around home!!!

This might be my most favorite pic of the girls yet....i laughed so hard when i seen it. As you can tell...Grace was not to happy this night...i'm pretty sure it was close to bedtime. B'lynne was just a happy little camper:) Things are going well around the Wilson household...we are slowly but surely getting on a schedule...Grace is sleeping more and more during the night so that is good for my mental health atleast. B is doing great as a big sister and is helping mommy out a lot. I'm looking forward to getting back to work...but not looking forward to the late hours i have to work. Corey will not be happy when he has to do it all by himself in the evening considering its the baby's fussiest time of night. She is ready to go to bed by 8..and i don't get home till 7:30..or later most nights. So i'll get to spend a whopping 30min with my baby..and she will most likely be furious at that time...that should be a blast:) I'm looking forward to the nice weather, it gets B outside and most importantly..the dogs outside!!! I hate when we are all cooped up inside. I'm looking forward to start my landscaping again this year. Its something that i really enjoy..minus the weeds part...they take over so fast...my yard was pretty for a little bit last year then i got pregnant and couldn't keep up with it. i'm hoping i do better this year!!! hope all is well with everyone...i'm trying to update the blog more so keep checking back!! Meg

Another fav...B not paying attention and Grace if furious....foaming at the mouth actually!! hahaha. and i realized that i should wear makeup everyday..this is just scary to look at:)
Fatty patty moo moo outside enjoying some sun!! Finally!!!
Never wake a sleeping baby...even if it means leaving her in her carseat for hours!!!
My little obese baby!!!
B'lynne loves helping mommy out with dishes!! Who knew that filling the sink up with water and soap could keep her busy for hours!!! She loves to play in the water!!!

Finally she made it!! Gracie Elizabeth Wilson!!!

Well on 1/19/11, my little (well not so little) Gracie Elizabeth Wilson made her first appearance. Weighing in at a hefty 8lbs 14oz and 22inches long. She was a big girl...and i felt every pound:) I guess that is what i get for going 10days over due...they finally talked me into being induced..even though i didn't want to...i figured it was time for her to get on out of there and deal with the cold like the rest of us had to:) She is now 3wks and two days old...sorry its taken me so long to post something, life is a little more difficult with two at home now!! Someone once told me it was easier with two...i'm still waiting on that to hold true!!!! I have one on a night schedule and one on a day schedule. Its getting better the past week...she has been sleeping much better, however not in her bed...she falls asleep in the swing for the first part of the night and then her bouncy seat the last part of the night...which i place in the crib so i can sleep in my bedroom and not have to worry about the dogs disturbing her...or eating her:) She is a good baby for the majority of the time, but doesn't like to be put down...she likes to be held...who can blame her, i carried her for 42weeks...whats a few more?Big Sister B'lynne has done a great job at welcoming her!!! I was a little worried B would try and hold her or mess with her a lot...this is not the case, in fact most of the time she could care less that the baby is even here, which is a good thing!! I have noticed that right when baby is crying and needing attention..that is when B wants attention has well, which can be difficult when i'm the only parent at home!! I usually have each of them on my lap...both crying...both demanding attention from me, so needless to say i'm super excited to see Corey when he gets home from work!! The baby seems to prefer me over him...so he usually spends time with B while i'm doing stuff with the baby. Other then that...just trying to get a schedule going, i go back to work in a few weeks (March 2nd)....man the time has went by fast..i'm sure not fast to the people covering my job....i think they are looking forward to having me back...or i atleast tell myself that!! I'll try and update again before i head back to work, but here are a few pics.

My G'ma holding "G"
Big Sister holding Grace...she says "can you get her off now, she is too big?" hahah
ahhh, the dreaded after labor picture....but she was worth it:)

Waiting patiently for new arrival...

Well today is 1/11/11...two days past due date and still nothing. Lots of "fake" labor...but nothing real. My last day at work was last Wednesday due to me just wanting a few days to myself to get some housework done and get some more stuff organized before baby...well i had those few days and now i'm just bored and want her out:) If she is anything like our first...(see pic to the left of Miss B'lynne Faith)...we are in serious trouble. As you tell from the pic she gets her attitude from her mom. Frankly I feel bad for Corey...number 1 he has to deal with me which is a chore in itself..then a child who acts just like me...and now another little girl who we are both hoping acts more like her dad...quite and goes with the flow. Had a doc appt yesterday and there is some progress made so i'm hoping things will get going this week so i don't have to be induced next week. I figured since i was home i could update the blog...mainly because i'm bored but figured everyone might want to know what is going on. I will keep everyone posted once Gracie Elizabeth arrives!!

Family pic...but B was being difficult and didn't want her photo taken so its just Daddy and I!!
