New Addition and A sick little B!!!!

Well......we have a new addition to the Wilson Family.......no mom and dad, I'm not pregnant again:) We have added a Shar Pei puppy, which Corey named EZ (pronounced, Easy, due to the fact that he is a pretty laid back dog, dumb name I know........) I did not want to get a puppy while we were in an apartment, but Corey has a listening problem and must have gone deaf at that statement. He knew I wouldn't say no to a cute little puppy. Anyway...it is done and he is here so I guess I welcome him with open arms. He took advantage when he first arrived to B's bouncy seat that she doesn't use anymore:) He has been well behaved and him and B seem to be hitting it off well. B is kinda mean, but that is to be expected and EZ is taking the baby beatings in stride......

This is a surprise to my parents, but I figured I would surprise them on the blog. Congrats, you are grandparents to a new Wilson:)

On another note, B has been sick this past week for the very first time and let me tell you.....it is not fun for neither of us!!! She got a little cold and wouldn't sleep very much so needless to say I am sleep deprived and can't seem to catch up. She started last night waking up screaming bloody murder, and has done the same tonight on and off, so it will be off to the doc first thing in the morning......hopefully I don't end up in the ER tonight. I think she may have ear infection.....I will keep everyone posted. Hope all is well with everyone and if I don't get the chance to talk to you.....Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!

6month stats!

Sorry all, I forgot to post her stats from her 6month check up.

Birth= 7lbs 13oz 20in
2.5 months= 11lbs 2oz 22 1/4in
4months= 13lbs 14oz 24 1/2in
6months= 15lbs 13oz 26 3/4in

She is still a little squirt but the doc said she looks great. Her head circumference is still in the 25%, height in 75%, weight 50%, she is going to be tall like her mama and daddy!!! She is starting to get stranger anxiety so she didn't want much to do with the doc this time!!

Moving all about and new x-mas pics.........

My mom and I took the kids to go get their x-mas pics and Austin's b-day pics last weekend and all i can say is that I am not looking forward to that each year!!!!! The kids weren't bad it was the other 500 kids running around like crazy that drove me nuts!!!! It is really difficult to get one child to look and smile at the camera let alone trying to get 2 kids to corporate!! If one was smiling the other was looking away or starting to cry....I can't imagine having to take more then two kids. Thanksgiving was also this past week and it was a very busy time visiting family. Braelynne kept everyone entertained but was exhausted by the time I got her home and she also slept in the next day for mommy. It is back to work for us.....hope all is well with everyone. B's funny smile at x-mas pictures....she is a goofball!! Austin turns 4 on Dec.1st and we went and got the kids' x-mas pics + Austin's b-day pics...isn't he a doll!!!

We went and got Braelynne's 6month pictures taken yesterday and it went surprisingly well. She wasn't a real smiley baby but she wasn't in a bad mood either. She was really well behaved and I had a really good time staying home from work with her. She is really fun these days and I hate that I have to go to work all day:( This week she also got her first tooth, it is barely showing, but it is for sure there!!

Family Time

This past weekend was all about family. Corey has been working a lot lately so we don't see him as much as we would like but this weekend we tried to make it about family. Sunday we celebrated Old Nana's birthday (my grandma) and got together for some good home cooking at my parents. This past weekend Corey and I also finally got some alone time without B when we visited some friends.....it was nice to get dressed up and not have baby vomit in in my hair or on my shirt:) Monday (tomorrow) is our 2year anniversary.....I can't believe it is only 2years!!!! It feels more like 10! I can't believe in that little of time we had a baby!!! Oh my lord we are crazy....:) Hope everyone is good, have a Happy Thanksgiving if I don't talk to you all before then.

The only way mommy can get things done around the house is to take me where ever she goes!! This weekend B helped mommy with laundry.... by chewing on clean socks!! She doesn't look very happy that I got the camera out AGAIN!!!!

1st Word!!!!

Oh my gosh......Braelynne Faith said her first word last night......well I guess it wasn't the first time because last week Grandma Traci told me she said it but I didn't really believe her but last night I got to hear it with my own ears! I'm a little depressed but it is what it is......she said DA DA!!!! And Corey just thinks it is the funniest thing ever!! He was feeding her dinner last night and all of a sudden she blurts out DA DA, Corey said "did you hear that" and of course I did but I didn't acknowledge it, so Corey tells her to say it again and she says "da da"!!! That little brat, doesn't she realize the pain I went through when I gave birth to her.....she couldn't even say mama first!!! Kids.......

6months old and making new friends!!!!

My little Braelynne Faith turned 6months this weekend and I couldn't believe how fast the time has went. B and I attended a friends baby shower this weekend and the best advice that I could give her (from what I know so far:) is that she was getting ready to experience the best thing to ever happen to her and to really just enjoy it and remember every moment because they grow up so fast and before you know it, they are 6months!!!!!! It feels like yesterday when we brought her home!!

This weekend we also went out and visited our friends Zac and Katie Wheeler and B got to meet and play with their new daughter, Brooke. At Katie's baby shower she received the very famous Bumbo seat and since Brooke can't fit into it yet, we stuck Braelynne in it to play; she got a little irritated that she couldn't get out of it, but that is what mommy liked about it!!! They were so cute together....B was such a nice baby, she kept holding on to her:)

We started giving B baths in the sink again because she was afraid of the big tub, but I think it is time to move her to the big tub again.....B is grabbing at everything and has started reaching over the other side of the sink and pulling out dishes to play with! Whatever makes her happy I guess!!!!!!! She likes to think she is big and drink out of a big girl cup.
